    • "As We Cross the Finish Line..." - A Record of the Graduation Ceremony for the Academic Year 2023-2024

When we lightly step across the Finish Line that symbolizes the end, and look back on this extraordinary year, the figures leaping on the playground, the lively discussions in class, and the determined eyes in the exam room, every scene unfolds slowly in our hearts like a scroll. We once laughed and chased each other on the playground, roamed in the ocean of knowledge, and honed ourselves in challenges. Every drop of sweat witnessed our growth and transformation.

At this moment, those ordinary days that we thought were once gone have become indelible marks in our hearts. We realize that it is these daily drips that converge into the most precious memories of our youth. When we truly cross the Finish Line, we not only feel reluctant to part with the past, but also have infinite longing and expectation for the future.

YCYW Beijing Yizhuang, the place that witnessed our growth and transformation, held graduation ceremonies for the YW K5, G6, G9, and YC Y6. For the students in these four grades, the graduation ceremony is of great significance. They not only finished this stage of their learning life, but also completed an important leap in their lives with the common witness of friends, parents, and teachers.

For the graduates of YCYW Primary and Secondary, the names posted on the stairs of the academic building are like imprints of their growth, every step taken with determination and pride. They wear neat school uniforms and walk on their own path, enjoying the glory and splendour of this moment. However, they also know that every day at YCYW is their home ground, and every inch of this land record their sweat and tears, every challenge and breakthrough witness their growth and transformation. The parents' representatives were moved and said, "Thank YCYW for providing students with scientific education and sincere care."

The student representatives looked forward to the future one after another. They knew that the road ahead was long, but they had dreams in their hearts and a path under their feet. They will use the knowledge they learned at YCYW as the foundation, the friendships they made as the strength, and the character they developed as the beacon, bravely stepping into a new journey. No matter how many challenges and hardships lie ahead, they will steadfastly strive to transform into the image that Chinese Co-Principals, Ms Ye, hopes for: from a child who used to rely on their parents' embrace, naive and in need of protection, to a mature individual who can shelter their parents from wind and rain with their broad shoulders and take responsibility. They will also remember the words of Western Co-Principals, Mr Harrison, "Dream big, aim high, and don't let your future situation be your future." These words will be their driving force, inspiring them to constantly surpass themselves and pursue a more brilliant tomorrow.

With this belief and hope, the students will continue to write their own wonderful chapters. In the days to come, may every YCYW student ride their dreams and not waste their youth, letting the flower of life bloom even more brilliantly in their relentless efforts and struggles. And this beautiful time spent at YCYW will be forever engraved in the students' hearts, becoming a precious treasure in their life journey.
