    • The summer overture of YCYW Beijing Yizhuang

The annual art exhibition and summer concert of YCYW Beijing Yizhuang were held as scheduled in midsummer. Parents came to the campus on weekends to experience the unique artistic atmosphere of YCYW. They enjoyed the creative artworks, listened to the flowing music skills, and felt the graceful dance movements. The artistic picture slowly unfolded, the music ocean was full of joy and excitement, and the students used their talents and passion to create a series of moving youth scenes.

Charity Art Exhibition + Silent Art Auction

The charity art exhibition, in collaboration with a silent art auction, has become a visual and spiritual feast. Ms Aiko, the PA Coordinator, introduced that the purpose of this exhibition is to showcase the artistic talents of students from all grades equally, from childish doodles to mature works, all of which are created by students. The auction works are from dual creations of families and schools, emphasizing authenticity and beauty, and strive to touch people's hearts.

The exhibition highlights are numerous, and the teacher's charity sales booth is particularly eye-catching, such as Ms Eileen's handmade dolls, which showcase the ingenuity of teachers in non-art fields. In addition, interactive booths such as seal making, coffee clay sculpture, and weaving experience are all explained enthusiastically by student volunteers, learning, and growing in practice. Jerry's excellent promotion made Ms Eileen's booth quickly become a hot seller, with revenues approaching thousands of yuan, all donated to the student-led charity group "YCYW Charity".

This year's art exhibition is themed "You are art," encouraging a diverse perspective to appreciate the beauty of art and cross-age boundaries to integrate creativity. The four sub-themes - "Nature," "Chinese traditional cultural art," "Current hot topics" (such as the creative integration of Paris Olympic mascots), and "The vitality of the motherland and the school," comprehensively cover the breadth and depth of artistic exploration. Especially the Paris Olympic theme, students cleverly combined the school mascot with the Olympic spirit to show a unique perspective and creativity.

Art teachers carefully planned to ensure that each exhibit combines craftsmanship and cultural connotations, such as the fusion of Chinese and Western plate designs, which not only reflects Western painting techniques but also embodies the essence of Chinese art. Ms Aiko emphasized that although the curriculum focuses on Western techniques, the study of Chinese art has never been absent. Ms Daisy, a Math teacher, praised the bronze replica works, believing that students not only replicated the historical charm but also demonstrated personal talents and a deep understanding of culture in innovation.

      "Enjoying the Future" Summer Concert

In the colourful summer, the "Enjoying the Future" Summer Concert is like a gentle sunshine, warming everyone's hearts. Violin teacher Wenhui gently said, "In this passionate season, our young musicians use their pure hearts and superb skills to weave melodies that cross the soul, inviting everyone to immerse themselves in the ocean of music and look forward to a future full of infinite hope and possibilities."

The concert stage is like a bridge, connecting young artists from different cultures around the world. From the melodious European classical music, to the light and lively melodies of Japanese and Korean pop, to the innovative works deeply rooted in Chinese culture - the enthusiasm of Korean song and dance, the profundity of Brahms' "Hungarian Dance No. 5," and the beautiful vision of the future in the original composition "Seeds of Hope" - every note jumps with sparks of culture, jointly depicting a cross-border cultural and artistic picture.

The students of the YCYW String Orchestra, from G2 to G9, held hands and stood on this brilliant stage that belonged to them. In the melody of "Seeds of Hope," they not only showed the seamless cooperation between the team, but also made every note shine with their unique brilliance. The excitement of "Hungarian Dance No. 5" and the magnificence of "William Tell Overture” All speak of their love and persistence for music. In "Chong'er Fei," the harmonious coexistence of the violin and the innocent song and dance, and the wonderful dialogue between the whistle and the strings in "Good Morning Long Hui," gently conveyed this love and dream to everyone present.

The most touching part was the heart-warming parent-child interaction in the concert. When the applause of the parents became the strongest support, the children's faces bloomed with more confident smiles. At that moment, the whole venue was surrounded by a warm current. Willis's mother, with tears in her eyes, said softly, "Seeds of Hope is like a clear spring, nourishing my heart. The melody of the string and choir interweaving directly hits the soul, making me feel unprecedented peace and strength."

This concert is not only a feast of music, but also a touching of the soul. It makes us believe that in this world full of love, no matter how many unknowns and challenges the future may have, if we have hope and walk together, we can create our own miracles.

As the summer sun gradually set, the YCYW Beijing Yizhuang was covered with a golden light, and a perfect ending was drawn for this day's artistic feast. But this literary passion and the fusion of diverse cultures are deeply rooted in everyone's hearts like seeds, waiting for the future to bloom more brilliant flowers. YCYW, this vibrant and creative school, not only strives to build a broad stage for students to showcase themselves and explore art, but also advocates the mission of "to aligning with Culture and Arts," allowing every student to be closely connected with literature and art on this fertile soil, weaving their dreams and future together.
